The town of Milford haven is 4 miles away and has the historic docks and Marina, various leisure complexes including the Meads Sports Centre and swimming pool, Phoenix Bowl (10 pin bowling), the Torch theatre as well as various shops

Little Haven

Only 4 miles away is the charming village of Little Haven. With several pubs and restaurants a good place for an evening meal and drink

Skomer Island

A marine nature reserve that can be visited by boat with seals and various birds

St Davids

Tenby

The seaside of town of Tenby is within half an hour of Sandy Haven. Try a visit to Caldey Island one of the oldest monasteries in Great Britain or spend the day exploring this charming seaside town 

Fishing

West Wales is famous for its sea fishing with Bass, Ray, Tope, Pollack, Mackerel and many other species, that can be caught from either the shore or boat.

There is also good Game and Coarse Fishing in the local area

Surfing

West Wales is a great area for surfing with favourite beaches being West Dale, Broadhaven and Newgale
